Sofronis boasts a 35-year career at Elefsis Shipyards, where he held various key positions. His roles included heading the repairs division, leading the design department, and eventually overseeing the defense construction division. Sofronios personally supervised more than 1,200 repairs, various modifications, modernization programs, and new building projects.
